About Us
Spiritual Development
St. Stephen Academy believes that the spiritual development of our students is at the center of a Christian education. We use a Christian Bible Curriculum because it offers our students an opportunity to receive interactive biblical instruction. The primary goal of the curriculum is to make the Word of God more meaningful to the lives of our students. Our students engage in Bible stories and activities that enable them to personalize the principles that are taught throughout the week. Character qualities are brought to life, as the students study and define important character traits, analyze the character traits through the life of Bible characters, answer questions that teach the students how to practice that character trait, and develop the character traits in their own lives.
Our students participate in chapel once a week. It is during this time that all of our students come together for a time of praise and worship, Bible recitations, and Bible lessons.
Christian service projects allow our vision to remain alive and well. Several times throughout the school year, our students work together to show that we are God’s Servants, In God’s Service, Serving God’s People. Pack the Pantry, The Angel Tree, and Comfort Socks are service projects that allow us to meet the needs of others.
As our students continue on their spiritual journey, St. Stephen Academy considers it an honor to have the opportunity of watching them grow in the Lord.
